Deputy editor
We're seeking a driven driven deputy editor to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in our next phase of growth. In this high-impact role, you will: Collaborate closely with our editor-in-chief to set and execute a distinctive news agenda that gives our readers an information advantage; Work with our reporters to ensure their journalism reaches its potential and meets the highest standards; Attract, retain and develop the exceptional editorial talent; and Build our newsroom culture that challenges conventional thinking and is fixated on growth.
The successful candidate will be a senior reporter with experience in a major newsroom seeking to make the switch into editorial management, or a seasoned editor excited by the challenge of reshaping Australian business and politics media.
Senior business correspondent
Australian business is changing, and rapidly. We fundamentally believe in the power of entrepreneurship. But we also believe that rigorous scrutiny of business is not only healthy, but critical for a functioning market economy. We are seeking an experienced business reporter to spearhead our coverage of corporate Australia and domestic financial markets. The role would suit a proven newsbreaker with a passion for business and an extensive network of contacts.

We are open to expressions of interest from other proven newsbreakers with a passion for business, finance or political coverage, including industry specialists.
Breaking news reporters
We are seeking breaking news reporters to reliably cover news that matters to Australian professionals. Successful candidates will closely monitor primary sources (including ASX releases, economic and markets data and company announcements) for newsworthy developments, and report in real time on what's happening and why it matters.
Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and impartiality are crucial.
